Hill Day 2025 and the Importance of AFG/SAFER.
This month, Ricochet Manufacturing proudly participated in the annual CSFI Fire Service Day on the Hill, where three of our team members joined forces with fire service industry leaders to advocate for critical programs supporting first responders.
Alongside the Fire and Emergency Manufacturers and Services Association (FEMSA) and the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers' Association (FAMA), we met with over 100 congressional offices to emphasize the importance of continued funding for key initiatives like the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program and the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) program. These programs ensure fire departments across the country have the resources they need to stay safe, adequately staffed, and fully equipped for emergencies, while also boosting disaster preparedness and protecting local economies.
Our presence at Hill Day helps bring attention to the pressing needs of fire departments, ensuring that our heroes are equipped with the tools they need to serve their communities safely. We encourage all firefighters and emergency personnel to reach out to their local representatives to voice support for AFG, SAFER, and other fire service initiatives, and continue advocating for the safety and well-being of our nation’s first responders. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
