Territory Manager for the Southwest Region

After a distinguished 32-year career with the San Angelo Fire Department, Brian Dunn has taken on a new challenge as Territory Manager for the Southwest Region at Ricochet. There, he works to equip firefighters with the best personal protective equipment (PPE) available.

Brian’s journey began in his father’s machine shop, where he found himself drawn to the stories and experiences of local firefighters who frequented the shop. Their tales of bravery and the unique challenges of the job inspired him to pursue a career in firefighting—a decision that would define his life for the next three decades. Over the years, Brian rose through the ranks, eventually serving as Fire Chief. His commitment was always to leave things better than he found them, whether it was improving fire safety systems or supporting his fellow firefighters.

Throughout his career, Brian experienced countless moments of profound impact. He recalls how rewarding it was when people would thank him and his team for saving cherished possessions or, more importantly, loved ones. “The impact you can have on someone’s life during their most challenging time is humbling,” he reflects. This deep sense of purpose drove Brian every day of his career.

When the time came to retire, Brian wasn’t ready to step away from serving the firefighting community. Through a former colleague, he learned about an opportunity with Ricochet, a company committed to creating top-tier PPE. It was a perfect fit. Now, as part of the Ricochet team, Brian brings his extensive knowledge of firefighting and fire safety to the table, ensuring that the gear he recommends not only meets but exceeds the rigorous standards required for the job.
